Addis Town Planning has secured outline planning permission for a B1 (business), B2 (general industrial) and B8 (storage and distribution) development on a a 3.3ha site west of Penrith.
The application was submitted in response to the lack of available business land in Penrith and was fully supported by Eden District Council’s economic development team.
The site couldn’t be better related to the A66 to the south and the M6 to the east.
At this stage it is the developer’s intention to put in the infrastructure and then sell/lease off parts of the site. There is also scope for ‘design and build’ of the individual units.
